I was diagnosed with Alopecia Universalis at the age of 14. Needless to say, we tried every form of medication and prayers we could. When I finally accepted my condition, the next step was to find wigs for myself. 
Every wig I tried was too hot, too painful, looked unnatural and caused blood clots all over my scalp. 
Like every mother, mine could not see my pain and came across Freedom Wigs New Zealand. They were natural-looking, silicon-based, that needed no glue or tape! It changed my life. The world was limitless from then on. I have scuba-dived, sky-dived, regularly go to the gym, and wear my hairpiece for over 14 hours on most days. We are both on a mission to spread the same sense of freedom I was given 10 years ago.
